The Campo de Carabobo is a historical monumental promenade in Venezuela, located in the southwest of the Libertador Municipality, near the city of Tocuyito, capital of the municipality. The Battle of Carabobo, a historical event that secured the Independence of Venezuela in 1821, was fought in this walkway.
The Campo de Carabobo Monumental Complex was declared a National Historic Monument and Historic Heritage Site on July 3, 1961. The site consists of different monuments built between 1921 and 1936, the most outstanding of which is the Triumphal Arch of Carabobo.
