Canaima Camp, or simply Canaima, is a location north of Canaima National Park, in the state of Bolivar, Venezuela. It is one of the major tourist destinations in the country as it is the starting point for expeditions to Angel Falls and other waterfalls in the area. It is located on the margins of the Canaima Lagoon, on the Carrao River and Anatoly Island.
The activity of the town is oriented to a great extent to the tourist sector, reason why it has a dozen tourist camps, hotels and inns. Most of the inhabitants are of the Pemón ethnic group. The town has no land or river connections, so it is linked by air to the towns of La Paragua, Ciudad Bolívar and Puerto Ordaz through Canaima airport.
